Accomodation
The letting belongs to a traditionnal "Perigordian"
estate, alongside river "Isle",
a tributary of the "Dordogne" river.
Its location takes advantage of a
natural surrounding particularly protected. It is an ideal place to relax and re-energize, as well as visit Périgord's various
touristic attractions.
Not far away from the beautiful Gironde estuary, it also offers pleasant visiting opportunities
throughout the nearby Vineyards.

Opened on the living-room the cooking corner is totaly equiped with fridge, oven, ceramic glass cooktop, microwave oven and dish-washer
Each bedroom is 12m² large. The double offers a a very large bed (160*220) to enjoy confortable sleeping
With an italian tray and electric towel dryer for a warm and confortable privacy. Opening on store-room dedicated to the washing-machine and everyday cleaning tools
For children as well as bachelor with a large dressing that gives each one it's individual space
Sleeping
The accommodation includes 2 bedrooms of 12 m² each, one with a double bed "Queen size" 1,60 x 2,00m large and 2 smal twin beds of 90x190 each. Baby equipment is available on request
Living room
The open plan kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator-freezer, a microwave, an oven, a vitreous ceramic cookingplate.
Heating is an electric.
Sanitaries
The toilet area is composed of a walk-in shower and towel dryer. A washing machine is available. Separate WC. The accomodation is non-smoking.
The environment
The single storey accommodation is distributed on the ground floor with no specific layout,
A parking place is dedicated inside the closed property as well as a ping-pong table.
A fishing-boat and electrical bikes are also available. Feel free to ask about our different services.
Except the barbecue place, smoking is not allowed inside the accomodation. To preserve neighbourhood's calmness
and park's amenity, we regretfully do not welcome our pets friends
Our added value
Useful
There is baker's, butcher's and grocer's shop, and garage all within walking distance as well as a point of sale of fishing articles. Other retailers, banks, post, supermarkets, chemist, etc. are to be found within 3km drive, in Mussidan. Major products can be found there.
Park
The garden yard of more than 3000 m² leads directly to the river "Isle" which gives on-the-spot angling opportunities. Rich with fish on this part of the bend, it is an anglers private delight.
A quiet electric fishing boat is also available.
Bathing
Because of a strong runing water bathing is not possible on this bend of Isle. However you'll find it nearby in the leisure resort of Neuvic or on the "Jemaye mere" everything to fullfill your aquatic wishes. Moreover, you may use electric bikes
we keep at your disposal to get there.
Activities
If fishing is not one of your hobby it will be a pleasure to help you organize dayplanning to discover all local curiosities and worthwhile places.
Besides Jacques can also assist skilled or new comers to genealogy in finding out their ancestry.

Bed sheets are available on arrival as are a "Welcome" household kit.
You can also book a "Day out" cleaning service. Let us know if you need these options.

Experiment unsual and nevertheless wonderfull gardens. None of them are alike but all will convince you Dordogne is "the" Greenland
Isle river is abounding with fish : roach, bleak,pike, black-bass, perch, sandres, carp, gudgeon and ilurus or trout in the numerous mere
Going west or south Winetour will take you a leap. St Emilion, Pomerol only 50km away, Montbazillac even nearer at 40km and many other like Pécharmant, Bergerac...
Dordogne lives from it's woodland. You'll have pleasure discovering it along the different woodpath or the so called "voie verte"
Discovering a landscape from the waterside is an exclusive experience. Many departure from Canoë quays spreadout around, will surely convince you.
Picking out mushrooms is a strictly controled activity in Dordogne. You will find its emblematical boletus and truffles on different markets such as Riberac one, where you'll get garanties and certificates of their origin.
Arriving from Périgueux, a large road-sign already tells you about the country of "1000 castles". It's up to you to take a plan and make your choice
Périgord's is a gastronomical meal on its own ! You can't miss it's "foie gras", strawberries, sparagus, walnuts, boletus and truffles and all it's Bio producers
Perigord is very proud of its traditions. Keeping alive craftsmen' works throughout exhibitions organized by numerous villages gives a better knowledgeo of their value
From North to South Périgord does all its best to entertain its visitors and offer them a memorable stay.
Vineyards route
You'll be surprised to discover that, although such famous wines productions as" Monbazillac", "Pomerol", etc. can be discovered and tasted nearby, the natives are quite amused by having you taste localy grown nutswine. Besides why not tasting the St Front one ?
Visit
Visiting Périgord you cannot escape its prehistorical history. Within the heart of this parietal treasure you have of course Lascaux but also many other Grottos opened to the visit. Rich in history, you can discover from its numerous castles and manors centuries of France "saga" : from roman Art marvels to Occitan traditions the region offers many worthy faces to find out.
Gastronomy
Local restaurants prepare with much pleasure their tasty specialties : foie gras, strawberries, sparagus, nuts or ducks products, Trappe-Echourgnac cheese, "Enchaud", and why not caviar which production's can be visited in Neuvic.
Leasure activities
Staying at "Charmes de l'Isle" you can go fishing on waking, as you only need to walk a few step away to get to the river. However other places and mere are dedicated to fishing, trout for example.
Walking adept, you will be pleased by following the so called "voie verte" up to Neuvic, for example unless you prefer water excursion on electric boats or on typical local boats ("Gabarre") organized by the" Duellas" mill owner.
Cycling fanciers can find in the near surroundings a wide choice of tours. If you suddenly feel like riding a renting service of electrical bikes is available at the accomodation with your hosts.
Many fun fairs like the one near the Bournat, aquariums or village summer festivities such as the"Felibrée*"offer lots of opportunities everyday entertainment.

Parks and Gardens
Nature reigns in Dordogne, and you can't miss the 500km² wide forest of la"Double" (so named probably from the gaellic word "dub"). This "green land " can alos surprise you by its numerous and original gardens such as the one of Marqueyssac or of Eyrignac's manor. Whatever your choice will be Isle Valley is the place to fill up with oxygen and chlorophyl.
Street and farmers markets
Abounding with a great variety of speciality delicacies local producers are proud to share the result of their know-how. Every day many markets take place in Mussidan and in the sourroundings. We will be happy to inform you of the days and places.
Sports
Riding centers or canoë practice are to be found nearby and will give you a friendly welcome. It will also be the case for Golf players in Périgueux Vigiers resort or Marterie's one, etc.
